FlexHead Cleanroom Ceiling Sprinkler

Factory Mutual Approved.
For over a decade, FlexHead sprinklers have
been protecting cleanrooms in the United States, Taiwan, Singapore, China, Korea, Israel, Europe, and both North and South America.
With FlexHead sprinkler systems, you get fire protection, contamination protection,
and peace of mind.

FlexHead Industries’ patented, all stain-less-steel, one-piece system is 100% factory tested and is designed to eliminate particulation and contaminants. This is FM-approved and ready for use with all major ceiling grid manufacturers’ products. Each unit comes complete with flexible, stainless-steel hose connected to a one-piece stainless-steel sprinkler drop with grid attachment, and your choice of FM-approved sprinkler head. Every unit is pressure-tested and certified prior to shipping, and requires no painting or epoxy coating. Initial installation cost is the same as or less than alternative choices, and the ongoing cost of ownership is significantly less.

Simple Installation. Easy Relocation. Faster Cleanroom Certification.
With no required in-field assembly, each one-piece unit installs in about 10 minutes. It’s a simple matter of connecting to the sprinkler main, then inserting the one-piece, stainless-steel sprinkler drop through the ceiling grid and securely fastening it down. Uniform, ultraclean grid penetration eliminates the need for escutcheons. In service, the flexible connection between the sprinkler main and ceiling grid dissipates any vibration, so gel seals remain intact, even in seismically active areas.
Relocating a sprinkler head is just as easy. With the water pressure turned off, simply unbolt the grid attachment, move the head to a new port location, and fasten into place. Because installation takes a fraction of the time of out-dated hard-piped systems, cleanrooms can be certified and online faster—a critical factor in getting your cleanroom up and running. And the speed of relocation means no downtime while sprinkler heads are being moved to accommodate tool or floor-plan reconfiguration.
In contrast, traditional hard-piped installation or relocation is far more labor-and material-intensive within the clean space. Hard-piped systems continually jeopardize both the air and the filters.
And with multiple joints per installation, leaks are always a potential threat.
